We have walked with Jesse almost each step of the way of our West Africa journey -- we were together for job matching conference, field orientation, language study, the formation of the media team, and more. Besides the "work" stuff, we have countless memories of hanging out, laughing, learning to cook, watching TV shows, taking road trips, and occasionally discussing the deeper issues of life.
It is hard to see her leave!
For her goodbye party, we had a progressive dinner, with each stop-off as a different continent. In honor of "Thinking Cap Thursdays" we made her wear a hat at each destination. It was a fun party, even though we are very sad to see her go.
We miss you, Jesse!
