Latest Happenings

Last week we had a visitor from the US, Chris Forbes. He is a ministry marketing consultant for our sending agency, the International Mission Board. He talked with us about new ways to promote missions in West Africa, like how to make the most of Facebook and other social networking sites. We also talked about developing a campaign to recruit young male missionaries. Lots of creative ideas are now brewing...please pray for us, that God would give us wisdom to know how to best implement these new ideas.

What are we up to for the rest of the month?
  • Our annual regional meeting starts next weekend, so we've been designing the program and banners for that. Once the meeting starts, we'll attend lots of training sessions on effective evangelism, discipleship and other ministry-related topics.
  • I'm writing a story and working on design layouts for the next edition of Go West Africa magazine, which will be published in a few weeks. I've hit a creative block on the writing, so please pray the words will start flowing again.
  • Kristen, a photographer who'll soon be based in Kenya, is coming to work with us for a few weeks. She'll learn more about missions in West Africa and also study some French. Please pray her time here will be beneficial.
Thanks for your prayers and support!
