Deron is making a five-day trip to participate in orientation for the next group of Hands On students who'll be serving in Africa. Hands On is a program for students/young adults who want to spend a semester serving in international missions. Deron will be leading a session on culture shock, and also getting to know the students so they'll know he's available throughout the semester if they need to talk about anything.
Please pray:
- for safe travel to and from Botswana
- for Deron to build good relationships with the young missionaries
- for confidence and wisdom as he leads the session and likely assists with others
- for Kylie and me as we stay home alone in South Africa
- for the Hands On missionaries as they prepare to serve -- that their hearts will be fully committed to the Lord and His plans for them for the next five months
