Re-Visiting Cote d'Ivoire

Recently our friend and honorary teammate William Haun made a trip to Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) to get videos, photos and stories of what is happening in the aftermath of the presidential stand-off that plunged the country into months of fear and violence. These powerful stories tell of how God worked in the midst of tragedy and how church leaders are now pushing for peace and reconciliation. Please check them out at AfricaStories.org. 

Reading these stories made me feel like I was back in Cote d'Ivoire -- I even saw familiar places and people in the photographs. Our hearts break over the trauma experienced by Christians in Abidjan (the city we used to live in) during the worst of the crisis. We wish we could go back to hear their stories and offer a little comfort and encouragement. Through William's stories, at least we got to find out a little bit more about what is going on.
