Rainy season has started, and it rains almost every day. This definitely has its pros and cons. Cons: it doesn't just rain, it storms, complete with loud cracks of thunder and the extremely annoying sound of rain drops on a tin roof. It gets so noisy it's sometimes hard to sleep at night. Also, our street has a tendency to flood, so we have to pick our way through the puddles on our way to work.
(This is what our street looked like at lunch time today.)
However, there is one pro which far outweighs the cons: the weather cools off immensely, so we don't get nearly as hot! In fact, we can even go some days without breaking a sweat at all. Yay!
Rainy season lasts until around October, so do you think we should invest in some galoshes?!
