Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from West Africa!

You know you're celebrating Thanksgiving in Africa when ....
the missionary kids make gingerbread cookies shaped like geckos!

We spent the day with our missionary family, including some friends from Niger who came to Abidjan for a conference. We didn't have turkey, but we did have lots of other traditional foods, including sweet potato casserole, dressing and pumpkin pie.

We are thankful for so many things this year...most of all for you, our friends and family, who make us feel so loved and supported even when we're so far away; and for the opportunity to serve here in West Africa. We have seen the Lord work in and around us in so many ways this past year. We're grateful to be a small part of what He's doing.
Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Eph. 5:19b-20
