All last year we had to work out of our home, since the office building for the Africa Support Center was still being remodeled. When we returned from our vacation in the US earlier this month, the building was finished and we were finally able to move in! Deron has an office on one end of the bottom floor, and at the other end is my office (a big room which also houses our large-format printers and a desk for a shared workstation). I still haven't decorated so my area still looks kind of stark, but this is where we work!
There is a small audio recording studio attached to my office that isn't being used right now, so we converted it to a nursery for Kylie! She comes to the office with us most days and Deron and I take turns taking care of her. It has worked out pretty well so far, but once she gets mobile we might have to start keeping her at home again!
We're grateful for the opportunity to finally be in the same place as our colleagues -- it's nice to finally be able to work with our teams on a regular basis.
