Trip to the USA

In late October/early November we made a 2.5 week trip to the USA. The main reason we went was to participate in the wedding of our friends Jesse and JJ, but we also took advantage of the time to visit with family members.

The Wedding

Here we are in our wedding get-ups, which were made from fabric Jesse purchased in South Africa. It was really special to be a part of their wedding and to spend time with several friends we had not seen in awhile.

Chicago

We spent a weekend with my brother and sister-in-law, who live in a suburb of Chicago. It was great to see them and experience a little of what their life is like together. We also spent a day in the "windy city," which was, indeed, windy and a little rainy, but also lots of fun. Chicago is a beautiful city and we hope we can see more of it sometime in the future.
Mississippi

The majority of our time was spent in Brookhaven with Deron's family. We had lots of fun just hanging out and playing!
