Trip to Senegal

Tomorrow we leave for an 18-day trip to Senegal. We'll be traveling with Emily, Jeslyn, Josh and JJ, so it should be lots of fun! The main purpose of the trip is to do media coverage of the three HandsOn teams who are serving in Senegal.

However, for the first part of the trip, Deron and I will be concentrating on Member Care, visiting with some of our personnel who serve in the capital city, Dakar. Then we'll be flying to the remote southern part of the country to visit some friends down there. Down there we'll meet up with our three HandsOn missionaries to do stories on a team that is doing rugged research among an unreached people group.

Please pray for us while we're there:

-- that we'll have good health and lots of energy
-- that God will guide our hearts, ears and eyes to capture just the right words and images
-- that we'll be unified as a team
-- that we'll be an encouragement and testimony to everyone we come in contact with
