We were there four days, and managed to catch the highlights of six towns and cities: Geneva, Montreux, Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Luzern and Zurich! Wow!
- got hopelessly turned around trying to find hotels in Montreux and Zurich
- missed a train in Geneva by two seconds, literally (it was just like a scene from a movie: two backpackers banging desperately on the train door and standing forlornly on the platform as it pulls away... fortunately we caught another one soon after because that's the beauty of Europe -- you can catch a train anytime to almost any where!)
- hopped on a Montreux bus going the wrong direction, then waited an eternity for the right one to show up (well, maybe just 30 min. or so, but it felt like an eternity...)
Here's a video of Deron in Zurich, which has a beautiful aldstadt (old town):
Other highlights of the trip included:
- Riding Golden Pass scenic trains past some of the most beautiful villages, lakes and mountains we've ever seen
- An amazing mountain view from our hotel balcony in Lauterbrunnen
- Getting a little damp from the mist of a glacial waterfall tunneling it's way through a mountain
- A walk along the lake towards the Chateau de Chillon in Montreux
- Swiss chocolate!

I can't believe you've been to Interlaken too! What an amazing and beautiful place it is. I'm so jealous that you got to travel through so much of Europe (specifically the 4 days in Switzerland!). I can't wait to see you two soon. Much love!
