This morning we arrived back home in Clinton. Our 10 hour flight from Buenos Aires to Atlanta seemed to pass pretty quickly, partially thanks to the Dramamine, which Deron now swears by (who cares if he doesn't get airsick? After taking a pill he fell asleep on a plane for the first time in years!).
Our first stop after dropping off our luggage at the house? Chick-fil-A, of course (if we missed it after 2 1/2 weeks in Argentina, what will we be like after 3 years in Africa) -- then Wal-Mart for groceries.
We had a wonderful time on our trip. As our blog has shown, we got to see some amazing places! It was also our first opportunity to spend an extended amount of time with Deron's parents without other family members around, so we enjoyed having them "all to ourselves" and bring home lots of special memories.
Now we must face the reality of packing up the house and moving to Virginia for missionary orientation. We have a lot to do in the next three weeks! We'll try to take it easy these first couple of days as we recuperate from traveling, but then we have to start packing, sorting, cleaning, organizing, and saying goodbyes.
