The town of Bariloche is famous for its chocolate shops. The streets are lined with one chocolate store after another, and, of course, we had to visit several in order to decide which sold the best chocolate. The winner was Turista (whose counter and chocolate chef are pictured here).In addition to great chocolate and souvenir shops, Bariloche also had some beautiful old buildings, including this Catholic church. The town sits on the edge of the same lake as the golf course, so we were able to enjoy breaktaking scenery as we walked the streets.
