Everyone here is starting to get in the Christmas mood. Several people have already decorated their quads with lights, paper trees, and holiday tablecloths. We also wanted to decorate our quad, so my quadmate Jamie and I went shopping. Our neighbors to the left (Quad 22) have white icicle lights, so of course we didn't want to duplicate them. Our quadmates to the right (Quad 20) have colored lights surrounding their windows, so we didn't want to copy them either. We finally spotted some green lights and thought that would be original. Then we saw what we thought were red lights, so we grabbed a couple of boxes of those as well. It was only when we got back to the quad we realized that although the pictures show red lights, the boxes are marked as PURPLE lights. We thought we might have to switch to a Mardi Gras theme. When the guys finally hung the lights and turned them out, they looked kind of kind of PINK! Oh, well. Deron, Dan and Troy did a great job creating a tree and a Christmas present out of lights. The kids in the quad are also working on a green paper tree. Plus, we've been eating excessive amounts of holiday candy.Merry Christmas from Quad 21!
