An Easter Bonus

Saturday night we dyed eggs with Jesse and Emily:

After Sunday dinner we had an “egg-pocking” competition, which is some sort of Louisiana tradition in which people decorate eggs, then tap them together to see whose egg will crack first. The egg that lasts longest wins.

Don’t ask –- I think Emily just made it up to make us look like fools …
