... where the temperature is 99 degrees, even at 9 o'clock at night -- indoors.So, we admit we haven't missed the heat here in Burkina, but it is pretty great to be back in the country we called home for our first three months in West Africa.
We went to our old church and got to see lots of friends, who all say our French has greatly improved. That is really not true at all -- we must have sounded REALLY bad before.
Remember Helene, one of our main language helpers? I got to have a good long visit with her on Sunday afternoon. We also got to eat meals with our missionary friends, and Deron's been playing GameCube and tennis with some MK (missionary kid) buddies and their dad.This week we'll be driving to Ghana with David & Laurel, Deron's supervisors. In Ghana we'll be visiting our personnel who work at a Baptist hospital and some pastor training schools. Some of them are new to West Africa, and some have lived here for many years.
We might not have much e-mail access until the weekend, but hopefully by then we'll be able to post some pictures from our journeys.
